October in Cache Valley

Here is a couple pictures that I took today. We went on the Logan River Trail and took pictures of my Parents and I and also took pictures of my brothers family. It was a great time out. A bit cold though. I had a fleece jacket and was still a bit cold as the night progressed and the sun went down. But I got a few good pictures. Here is a couple. I know Ahenobarbus wanted some fall pictures. I was to lazy to get pictures up in Sardine Canyon when it was all nice even though I drove by there (I forgot my camera or didn't think about grabbing the camera when I left) a couple times but yah. So here are some late fall pictures. It is definitely getting cold and really feels like October in Cache Valley.

Finally Finsihed a bit late

So I finally finished the Millennium Falcon. It took me a long time. I am estimating it took me anywhere from 22-27 hours. I didn't keep track and took many breaks so I really have no clue how long it took me. This would be the first time building a Lego set that I got so frustrated at how slow it was going that I took constant breaks so my eyes could re-adjust to normal after looking at all the pieces. I even took a week off when building it. My cousin has a kitten that I am sure would of had a great time knocking all the bags of pieces off the table if I left them there. I wasn't about to have several thousand pieces scattered all over the floor. I am not sure if I would get a bigger set that had more pieces in it unless it was something really cool. I think 3,000 pieces is a nice number for a large set. Plus the bigger the set the more space it takes to display and I am really all out of room in my bedroom. My mom didn't like the idea of using it as a center piece on the table.
