RC Boating
This is a few pictures from when a few of us went boating. It was a nice Saturday morning in the shade. It did start getting hot after noon but we were about ready to go at that point. It was a pleasant time. There were no major incidents. Just a few bumps. It was just a very pleasant time with friends.
The captain got to take his sail boat out for a spin when the wind wasn't too bad. But unfortunately the wind died off promptly after setting sail.
You can see how nice and calm the water is.
It was nice that the nitro powered boat was up and running. There is just something about hearing the roar of the engine. The electrics are so quiet.
The geese came and played for a bit. They weren't too afraid of the boats. We didn't have much running at the time. They just came and ate. The ducks on the other hand aren't too fond of the boats. They usually swim off pretty fast.
They don't even like to swim around my duck. It is too bad. The ducks are pretty good swimmers and can go quite fast. Faster than my duck can.
Of course the little boats had to get out and play a game of tag. This is one tag that happened.

Was that the Saturday I came and visited for, like 30 seconds? That was fun, indeed. I can't believe that that bottom shot wasn't a hit. It sure looks like a collision.
It was the Saturday you came. It was such a wonderful morning. It was nice and cooler than normal, friends all around, and just very relaxing.
