That is a great shot! Wait a Minute!?!
So Darrel, Stephen, and I went out to Darrel's work to fly RC airplanes. Well they flew and I watched. I was the photographer. I do enjoy taking random pictures and think that some of my pictures actually turn out alright. And the rare few that turn out better than alright. But one thing that had always annoyed me is how a picture could look great or crappy on the little LCD display on the digital camera but when you look at it at the pictures native resolution in turns out the complete opposite. Take this picture for example. On the LCD you couldn't tell that the plane was out of focus. The tail looks in focus but not the nose and the cowls on the wings. But after looking at it it is okay but not great. Oh well. It still is pretty good. I should just resize the picture and have to squint to see any of the blur that is there.
Thank goodness for digital cameras though. Take a bunch of pictures and one kind of turns out without having to have wasted the roll of film.

Hey, that shot's not bad at all. How much zoom were you working with? Those RC plalnes can be going so fast, I'm impressed you got a shot this clear.
You could try a some software to deblur the edges - I've had mixed results, but sometimes it really does wonders.

I think it was about 4-6x optical. It was coming towards me kind of. What program do you use? I have always wanted Adobe Photoshop but really haven't been able to justify buying it yet.
erm... I think the one I used to use was a freebie called Picaso 2, or something like that. I know it's connected with Google. It's nothing flashy, but it'll do the basics.
